Birthplace?
editSome web sources say that he was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. I prefer this source: http://www.worcesterfamily.com/seventh-3.htm (search for Samuel Austin), which says he was born in Worcester and moved to Peacham.--173.3.16.92 (talk) 05:25, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Can I share my family on fb. I'm the only standing Worcester in my immediate family. I refused to give up my name. Shari Worcester (talk) 17:44, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Secretary of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions???
editThis source says that "Samuel Worcester" was the corresponding secretary for the ABCFM from 1810 to 1821... not sure if this is the same person since Worcester would have been ~13 years old in 1810. Perhaps it was a relative? Any thoughts? MPS (talk) 13:43, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- The Secretary of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, was a different Samuel Worcester, an uncle of the article of this subject. He actually founded the board and died at Brainerd in 1821. Bruin2 (talk) 18:19, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
