Nominated for speedy deletion
editThis biographical article was nominated for speedy deletion today under CSD G11. Having looked over the article, I think this nomination was inappropriate. The article's most urgent problem is a lack of references. There is fluff that doesn't belong, but its contents do not "require a fundamental rewrite" to become encyclopedic, and its subject is easily notable by Wikipedia's standards (once some sources are added). Googling the guy's name gives me no reason to believe the info on the page is spurious, and a few tweaks can eliminate any promotional lapses in tone. AtticusX (talk) 18:01, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Needs organization
editThe bulk of his article is a timeline detailing every little work he has directed. This needs to be trimmed down to the most notable productions and grouped in theatre or filmography. Books that he has published should be in a Bibliography. -AngusWOOF (talk) 18:19, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
