editA HUGE chunk of this article appears to have been lifted verbatim from http://www.mascothalloffame.com/virtual/hall/index.html?staff_id=3 It looks like we'll need to rewrite the entire article. Anyone have real info to contribute? SpikeJones (talk) 05:20, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- I noticed the same thing -- is there any chance that they lifted from here? Seems like it needs to be taken down if it can't be shown to have gone the other way. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert (talk) 06:16, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
NYT quote
editRegarding the following (as-yet-uncited) NYT quote:
The New York Times referred to Giannoulas as "the Lawrence Olivier of sports mascots."
Does anyone know if the name of Laurence Olivier was spelled incorrectly in the article itself, or was it a transcription error? Thanks KConWiki (talk) 18:57, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
photo removal
editFor some reason my photo of the San Diego Chicken was deleted. It was replaced by a different photo. It is one thing to replace a photo with a better or more recent picture. it is another to completely delete the photo.
