Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.
Etymology may be incorrect
editThere are/were two settlements in California named "San Joaquin". The one that is the subject of this article is about a dozen miles from the San Joaquin River; but the former settlement San Joaquin City, California, in San Joaquin County, was actually a port town on the San Joaquin River itself.
It's possible both towns were named for the river, but I wanted to note that the encyclopedia used as a citation here may not actually be referring to this town.--NapoliRoma (talk) 17:20, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
