Talk:San Lorenzo de El Escorial

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

It has no sense to merge the two articles, because they're two diferent municipalities with diferent mayor, although they limit each other and their names have the word el escorial--Madalino 21:52, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I detected a mistake: in the Mount abantos ther is no American Beech, but European Beech (Fagus sylvatica), trees planted from seeds coming from Tierra de Cameros beech forests (mountains of La Rioja). I have been several years in charge of the gardening at the Arboretum Luis Ceballos, half a mile from the old beech trees. Among the alloctonous trees planted there during the late 19th. Century are Northamerican pines as Pinus jeffreyi, Pinus coulteri and Pinus sabiniana88.27.128.126 (talk) 18:17, 15 January 2014 (UTC), among other exoticals, but no Northamerican beechs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.27.128.126 (talk) 18:11, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Festivals and traditions Needs Serious Work

Appears to either be vandalized (slightly) or to have been poorly, poorly translated from the same section of the Spanish article. Needs serious cleaning.96.239.94.159 (talk) 06:59, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fixed. Edited to proper English grammar based on the Spanish article.63.118.154.72 (talk) 18:47, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Still a lot of bad English grammar, taken from a translation. Nick4009 (talk) 23:50, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. The grammar is appalling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acasson (talkcontribs) 09:56, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
