Edit wars
editWe seen to have achieved a nice article which has some genuine content and is not the Gibraltar bashing original - can we keep it that way ? I even took away the protection header to see if the vandals are asleep. Don't awaken them with propaganda. --Gibnews
I agree that the article is NPOV and I have nothing against your recent edits. Our only point of conflict, as you know, is not related to this article.--Burgas00 02:41, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Then I suggest you leave it until that's resolved. As regards democracy, I watched it start in Spain - we had it already, and greatly enjoyed watching Tejero on TVE giving his advice to parliament. Someone gave me the CCTV footage on DVD recently. --Gibnews 09:53, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Coat of Arms
editI think the one shown on the page is wrong, and it should be
The crown is separate from the shield and the key faces to the right, that looks like the ones I've seen in San Roque. The one on the page although beautifully drawn is simply a steal of the current Gibraltar flag. --Gibnews (talk) 15:24, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Excessive Detail
editThe article seemed to focus unduly on the details of the Gibraltar capture, which is of tangential relevance to this article. I see this as a classic example of WP:COATRACK and so I have removed excessive detail, retaining what is essential for this article. Regards, Justin talk 12:20, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
