Is Sandra named after Sterling North?

North and his book Rascal were referenced in one of the early strips, and when combined with the dead mother, the pet raccoon and so on, this seems like a given, but it would be OR to insert it without a source. Can someone find one? Hijiri 88 (聖やや) 12:33, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Citation for the strip ending?

The most recent strip was posted on July 8, 2022, titled "Best Ending." Is that the only evidence for the statement that the strip has ended? -- Dan Griscom (talk) 21:24, 13 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello,

I’m Oliver’s mother. He didn’t get what was going on here at all, he thought it was clear that after this strip it was over for the time being. He’s fine, but feels creatively drained and can’t continue for now. He hasn’t decided yet whether he just needs a longer creative break and will continue with Sandra and Woo, or whether he will turn to a completely new project. He has asked me, after telling him what is going on on this site, to write this comment and ask his faithful readers for their apologies and understanding that he feels unable to continue or engage with Sandra and Woo right now . After more than 10 years, the creative battery is empty and has to be recharged.
