I believe that brazilian country music should be considered an style itself, even for it's differences from the american counter-part. By stating that Maria chiquinha is the most well-known country song, that might lead to misunderstandings from readers that are not brazilians (who are the target audience for an english article). The phrase ""Maria Chiquinha", a classical country song, is one of the most remembered songs in the country" was removed because it sounded very confusing.
