editRegarding citations: I updated both the Sandy Shaw and Durk Pearson entries using a CV which they provided to me. I'm a partner in a Company which does business with them. Please let me know how I could improve the entries Jwclement 04:10, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

no ax to grind
editI really have no ax to grind here, but after noting the similarity between the two entries, one thing you could do is call the registrar's office at MIT and at UCLA to verify the educational credentials. Durk's are really hard to believe. Also you could cite some publications dealing with Durk's involvement with the space program. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.77.67 (talk) 20:45, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
proof of the pudding
editI was a fan of the couple and their book when it came out. Now they are in their later sixties and we should be seeing the results and efficacy of their approach. But looking on the web I see no recent pics and the article indicates no recent personal appearances similar to their prior mass media exposure. An update, info on this is in order. 72.228.177.92 (talk) 15:39, 5 August 2010 (UTC) Look harder. They were active through sometime in 2017 and photos exist from that period. They've totally dropped out of sight since though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.96.210.230 (talk) 03:48, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
Sandy might well have passed
editChatGPT told me this evening that Sandy Shaw has passed on. When I enquired as to the source, it said "There are several other sources that confirm Sandy Shaw's passing. Some of these sources include:
The New York Times obituary published on December 7, 2020
The Washington Post obituary published on December 3, 2020
The Los Angeles Times obituary published on December 8, 2020
The Legacy.com obituary published on November 30, 2020
All of these sources confirm that Sandy Shaw passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 72."
I have, as yet, been unable to validate any of these.

- Well, this just gets weird. I pressed ChatGPT for an obit for Sandy and it came back with an obit for a "Sandie" Shaw who, yes, wrote Life Extension and who was also an "accomplished pianist". So I pressed Chat GPT further, citing these two probably errors, and it said:
- "I apologize for any confusion or misinformation that I may have provided earlier. After conducting further research, I was unable to find the obituary for Sandy Shaw on the Las Vegas Review-Journal website."
