Well …how’s about “ Grammar and Style for the Physical Sciences “?

Fixed grammar: we don’t definitively deprecate contractions. But this “they’ll” is too clumsy and vague to merit positive mention of any arguable exceptions to the anti-cont’n g-line. And I don’t have time or attention for the mockery that Swift or Pope might have offered. And the detailing of offenses couldn’t compete with the elegant specimen available via a DIFF query.
