editDear Wikipedia,
We are concerned that our article is being targeted on the basis of our country of origin rather than on the notability of the content. We don't understand how to respond to this. Even after providing citations which demonstrate high notability of the subject, the article is being filed for removal. We would like to reiterate that this is not autobiographical and that we do not have a direct relationship to the subject, except as readers of his books. Some of our members have attended book reading sessions by the author, for full disclosure, but there is no further relationship. Hence, we are concerned that our page is being targeted for removal.
We request your guidance on how best to respond to this situation.

- Hello, I'm sorry that you felt targeted. Several other editors were concerned with the actions/motivations of that editor and, in case you didn't see it, the deletion nomination has been dismissed. I think a lot of the content can be returned to the article. Take a look at the neutral point of view tutorial and try to make it sound less like a cover letter as you add sections back in.
- I also recommend that you and your book club members sign up for individual Wikipedia accounts. That'll make it easier to carry on a conversation (I could "ping"/notify you of my reply), and it would also allow you to keep better track of your contributions – gwendy (talk) 16:21, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
