I can't directly address the substance of the disagreement, but who with any knowledge of wikipedia would write "This monastery was founded in the ninth century, not the tenth, in 880. There have always been roughly 80 monks in residence." I suppose the exact number of monks could be determined, but the discussion belongs here on the talk page, not in the body of the article.
