2008/2009
editAccording to the cited article, the fire occurred at 12:35 AM local time, thus it was 2009 in the area. I have moved the page in respect to this information. - Enzo Aquarius - Walkie Talkie! 22:19, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- Discussion on IRC seems to be divided between UTC and local time, I'd suggest leaving it at 2009 for now since it has been moved, but if anyone questions it later then have a discussion at WT:MOS. — neuro(talk) 22:23, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Omen
editWow, I have never seen such bad spelling in an article as that 'Omen'part. Astonishing! Does this tragedy really need a bad omen part in it? I don't think so. I'm not English, so I'm not even trying to redo that part.
Ignition source
editI have seen some discussion that the fire may have started from fireworks landing on the roof the building.
I don't know if there are any substance to this theory, but considering that witnesses don't seems to know or agree how it started, maybe it started from outside the building, not inside. This would also explain how the fire could spread so fast. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrislarsson (talk • contribs) 11:16, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Front page

2006/2007 Bangkok bombings
editIs it okay if this article is added to the "See also" section? --68.60.67.149 (talk) 23:32, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- No bomb / terror articles should be mentioned on this article, as this was an accidental fire, not an attack. Information yes (talk) 13:36, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Page title
editI don't think the page title "2009 Bangkok nightclub fire" is that good. And it is not consistent with the names of other fires in nightclubs.
Wouldn't a title like "Santika nightclub fire" be better?
Added Detail
editI just added that the party was called "Santika's Last Night", because that's another incredible coincidence. I live in Bangkok, my girlfriend wanted to go there, I refused, that's why we are still alive. I remember that night very well. Greetings, Volker from Bangkok. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.88.254.137 (talk) 21:29, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
