i have never edited a wiki page. i'm not planning on learning now. i do think this page could use quite a bit of work. i arrived at this page because i just read the first book in the series, and i wanted to find out what happens next. unfortunately, the plot summary is barely comprehensible. run-on and incomplete sentences abound. the summary itself is not cohesive.
now i fully realize that some pages are wikipedia are of higher quality than others. obviously this is not the worst page that i've read. there's just something about this page that pushes my buttons. please edit!
disclaimer: as mentioned above, i'm not involved in the wiki editing community. i have no idea what the usual customs or rules are here. if something i have written offends or angers someone, it wasn't intentional. i have tried to be candid and polite. thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.53.77.59 (talk) 08:19, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Editing
editNo worries, everyone is new when they start out. One of the guiding principles of editing is to Be Bold! Go ahead and change the article to something that reads less like a grammar school book report. I'd do it, but I've never read the book in question. Hope you see this and start out on a grand Wiki adventure someday! Spaig (talk) 19:59, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
Problems with Realm Section + etc.
editI read this book years ago and came to check about the Wikipedia articles for this series. On the Incarceron page, it says the world was stuck in the 17th century, but this page says the world is stuck in the 17th century. Which is it? I can't confirm either way, so I'll change it to match the Incarceron page so it's at the very least consistent. Also, I'll be changing the vocab and grammar of the summary to make it comprehensible., but not the meaning.
