"Sapphire" as a word for a stereotype about black women

edit

I'm talking about the term found on Wikipedia at Angry Black Woman (says "is also known as the Sapphire") and briefly summarized at Stereotypes of African Americans#Sapphire. I'd like to be bold, but I don't know under which category this belongs or precisely how to name it. Thank you. 174.55.186.24 (talk) 05:39, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

I've added an entry for it. -- Fyrael (talk) 20:01, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

65th?

edit

I've always understood a sapphire anniversary to be a 45th - a meaning supported by Wiktionary. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sapphire#Adjective Koro Neil (talk) 06:40, 7 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

The article for Sapphire jubilee explains it (at least a little). -- Fyrael (talk) 04:34, 8 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
