Here are some things to think about as you move forward with your article:
Your first sentence needs to be amended. You'll need to include Knockwood's birthdate, and ideally you'd also include her heritage. Here's an example from James Lavallée's article:
James Lavallée (born 6 October 1997) is a Métis sprint kayaker from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In the first sentence you'll call her by her full name. However, every time after that you'll have to refer to her as "Knockwood", not "Sara".
Your article draft would benefit from another round of edits. Ensure that your writing is technical and grammatically correct. When you go through it try to read everything aloud. If it sounds like something you'd find in an encyclopedia, keep it. If not, rewrite the sentence or paragraph.
Your article would benefit from some formatting. Headings and maybe even a chart (for the awards) will make a huge difference.
Make sure you credit Knockwood with her Tom Longboat Award, that's an important national award.
Throughout the article you need to add citations. If you find any more information add that, too.
This article is on it's way, and I'm excited to see how it turns out. Good luck!
Spelling of name?
editI see that even the sources are inconsistent in the spelling of her name ("Sara-Lynne" vs. "Sara-Lynn"); any insights as to the correct spelling? Jmertel23 (talk) 14:17, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
