The "witch" story has several holes, but one that is particularly difficult to convey is the anachronism. 1848 was the Victorian era, not the days of the puritans when witch trials were common. I want to avoid original research, but obviously a witch story from that era is unusual so I think it's correct to highlight the anachronism as follows:
Although East Anglia was at one time known for witch trials, this was in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, not the mid-nineteenth.
hi my name is kim for years i had a recurring dream that i was burried alive i could see out of te wooden coffin that i was in i was on a cart the buriel place was near a tree. years later i visited east mersea with my parents for the first time ever and reconised the place that i had dremt about my parents had never taken me there before but i knew the area very well. i was born with a scar on my left side also. years on as i am now 42 years old i watched a paranormal program and heard about the ghost of the roman princess on east mersea and this sent a chill down mine and my mothers spine. perhaps someone could tell me more. thanks
