editThe height is probably not 262 m, that is the absolute height on topographic maps, not how tall the dune itself is. It is still very tall, but it is not the height of the dune itself. I have checked on several topographic maps, there's no doubt the height is above sea level. So the dune is perhaps 262 m minus how high above sea level the ground is. I cannot tell where the dune starts because it has vegetation on the lower part. I suspect the ground is 50-100 m ASL. So the dune may be 160-210 m tall. That of course assumes that the 262 m to the top is valid. It is still very tall, but there's a difference between the height of a dune, and the height above sea level of the top of a dune. 217.74.153.238 (talk) 16:45, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
