If "it's still standard to capitalize K.D. Lang in articles and such", why is the article for Ms Lang titled exactly k.d. lang. I have no preference, just seems a little contrary. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:07, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- Well, it's like adidas. We can't begin sentences with a lowercase letter. Also, every single source that mentions Lang performing on Saturday Zoo spells her name in initial caps. Softlavender (talk) 15:12, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- It seems that the articles linking to her, use the lower case version [1]] I'm not seeing any that don't? Theroadislong (talk) 15:17, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- As you know, WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS isn't a valid argument on Wikipedia. Personally, I still prefer initial caps, as much easier on the reader and much less jarring. Softlavender (talk) 15:24, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- Personally, I think she's very talented. You could always open yet another WP:RM at Talk:k.d. lang? Martinevans123 (talk) 15:30, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- It appears to be the dominant theme of discussion on this Artist's talk page. Discussion on it stretching back to 2008. It seems to be mentioning that it is Ms Lang's personal preference to present her initials in lower case. I'm not sure how MOS deals with this sort of situation. - I am surprised things are as uniform as reported by Theroadislong. I can appreciate Softlavender's point and I'm amazed this is tolerated by the "MoSCAPs Nazis". But the argument from consistency seems to favour all lower caps? Sorry if that's a real drag. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:57, 16 September 2018 (UTC)

I can't link to the YT clip of Penn & Teller on Saturday Zoo, of course. (But I think there's only one). The description says "Penn & Teller make their first appearance on UK TV (according to Jonathan Ross) on the second episode of Saturday Zoo." Can anyone find a good source for this? I've searched and found zilcho. Martinevans123 (talk) 14:35, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
Sorry to be a grammar nazi but I have doubts about the proper punctuation of Jonathan Woss' possessive case. (tongue in cheek here) Ianactually (talk) 21:51, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
