Savings Bank?

edit

Where is the information regarding Savings Banks, which is a category of banking, in the United States? Has Wikipedia gone braindead? Stevenmitchell (talk) 05:51, 13 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

What I notice about the article is its failure to mention that the typical assets a savings bank and a savings and loan invested in were different. A Savings Bank typically invested in bonds while a Savings and loan invested in mortgages.

Italy's Savings Banks

edit

I have inserted a link to the Wiki page on Italy's "Casse di risparmio", which, albeit short and insufficient, is at least SOMETHING about this tangible historical presence. For some reason the link comes out in red and a mouse gliding over it reaps the message "page does not exist". Well, it does, and is even linked in the left-hand margin under "italiano". What can I do to point this out and get the link to function and turn blue? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alenux (talkcontribs) 17:45, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
