Klein-Gordon is only renormalizable field
editWhat is that supposed to mean? What about φ4? What about scalar QED? What about scalar Yang-Mills? What about sine-Gordon? All of those are renormalizable, none of them free. -lethe talk + 04:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
New page on scalar field theory and redirection of this page
editI think the various current pages on scalar field theory are fairly patchy in what they cover. I have started a new page, Scalar field theory, which I hope will cover the various aspects of scalar field theory in a coherent fashion.
So far I have covered the most important topics in classical scalar field theory, though mainly through busy-ness I have not completed the exposition of the quantum theory. Help would be appreciated!
I believe the material from this page is now covered. What are people's thoughts on blanking this page and redirecting to Scalar field theory? All the best--Jpod2 10:11, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
