I unfortunately do not agree with merging scam letters with Spam.
Spam is unwanted advertising, in most instances, legal services.
Scam letters is unwanted advertising of illegal activities and therefore resort under a category of its own.

- Spam is unsolicited commercial email, including scams and fraud. There's also an article on phishing, and some of this might fit better there. I think it would be better to incorporate this content into those existing articles, since "scam letters" is not a common term, and seems to be just a new name for a particular category of spam.
