Hi!
I wrote my thesis on the topic of SICM. the document is located there: http://sschraml.happyserverfriends.info/public/SICMthesis.pdf please include if this is of interest.
SICM is not Electron microscopy
editSICM is not Electron Microscopy so why the comparison with SEM regarding killing the living tissue cells? It is a probe microscopy which does not have any resemblance to SEM or Electron Microscopy in function. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.195.107.160 (talk) 00:47, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
I have expanded and completed the article as best I could

AFM Reference removed
editI removed the part saying that both STM and AFM cannot image poorly or non-conducting surfaces, since the AFM, indeed, is able to image these surfaces. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:4C80:40:4C8:7A2B:CBFF:FE96:EA04 (talk) 13:56, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
