-Can it get any more convoluted with big words? An encyclopedia article shouldn't require more than one dictionary search, drat it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.174.235.245 (talk) 19:54, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Your lacking vocabulary shows pronounced schistosity. ForeverStainedWithAutism (talk) 15:10, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
Color, fracture, streak, and luster are characteristics of individual minerals - not applicable to schist or any other rock. Big words are necessary when talking about minerals. They just have big names. The replacement for "Andalusite" is "an aluminium nesosilicate mineral with the chemical formula Al2SiO5," which does not roll off the tongue. The author already substituted the made-up word "platy" for the correct word, "foliated."Lumberjack80 (talk) 15:48, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
