editI thought this was a very well-written article! I embedded links to various uncommon words and other mentioned species throughout the article. I also corrected a few minor typos. In the Lead Section, I added clarification on the epigynum structure. I was confused what "split T excavation" was referring to, as well as what "excavation" meant when mentioned later in the article and think this could be further explained. A bit more information could be added to the Lead Section to catch the viewer's attention as well. Under Courtship and Mating Success, I explained what "stridulation" meant. In the section on Reproduction, I defined "prosoma," and under Parental Care, I defined "spinnerets." In the section on Bites, I clarified what was meant by "necrotic." editHello! I really liked this article's prose and style. It follows the "summary" style Good Article mentions. To help orient the readers, I added a few links to some words like setaceous. I noticed that your lead section was rather short, but it did feature some distinguishing features of the spider. I think to this section you could add more facts that help paint a larger overview of the spider, such as where it lives, where it eats, or any trademark behaviors of the spider. Also following the WikiSpiders outline, I rearranged some of the sections on the page. I moved the hunting behavior under Diet as a "predatory feeding section," burrows to the habitat section, and a physiology section/thermoregulation for overwintering. hese headers help maintain consistency with other Wikispider articles. I moved the Physiology section under Description to the new physiology section at the end, because WikiSpiders also looks for consistency in the order of the sections. editHi, I honestly really liked the way this article was written. It was hard to pinpoint things that needed a lot of improvement, but I guess a couple areas that would make this article even better would be adding more information in your lead. I think that could help capture readers' attention even better. I did make some edits to your lead, but I think you may want to add even more about why the process of mating/ornamentation is so important. I think more elaboration would help. In addition, I was hoping you could clarify more on what you meant by saying that these spiders have a dull body but a flashy ornamentation for camouflage. I was uncertain how having a flashy ornamentation fit in with this idea of camouflage. Can you explain/clarify more on why they have such flashy legs? I think more detail on that would help! Thank you for your article! I enjoyed reading it. Wikispiders11 (talk) 07:52, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
