Wikipedia is not

Of the items which Wikipedia is not (under "not an indiscriminate collection of information"), this article violates none of them. The article is not a 1) FAQ, 2) a list of quotes, 3) travel guide, 4) memorial, 5) news report, 6) genealogical entry, 7) directory/resource for conducting business, nor 8) an instruction manual. Mystache, specifically cites #7, but including administrators and faculty on the page does not make the article a business directory, nor does it "list upcoming events, current promotions, phone numbers, etc." hellenica 16:02, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

New Dean

Finally the Whitehead school has found a new Dean. The following is an email from the President's Office of Seton Hall Univeristy.

I am very pleased to announce the appointment of John K. Menzies, Ph.D., as Dean of the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations. Ambassador Menzies, the 16th president of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa since 2002, will assume his new position with Seton Hall on 8 January 2007.

Ambassador Menzies brings considerable skills and very wide and rich experience to us as the new Dean. After obtaining his doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley, he served for more than two decades in the U.S. Department of State, including a term as Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina and as Chief of Mission to Kosovo. In the early 1990’s Ambassador Menzies founded the American University in Bulgaria and was later a top adviser to the President and Secretary of State. He also has served with great distinction in higher education, bringing Graceland, a 110-year-old faith-based university, a new vision, successful fundraising and improved performance of the endowment.

All of the students and faculty of the Whitehead School, the Provost and fellow deans and the entire Seton Hall University community, welcome Ambassador John Menzies to his important new leadership position on our campus, and beyond. Monsignor Robert Sheeran

Fair use rationale for Image:Seton-Hall-283.JPG

Image:Seton-Hall-283.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
