Decision

edit

No consensus after 6 months. Some improvements have been made, tho more are needed. - BillCJ 17:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, BillCJ. I am looking into a source of additional biographical information on the brothers and their literary accomplishments as well. JimScott (talk) 16:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

ROBINSON R22 COMMENTS

edit

IMHO, this smacks of improper content. It is true that the R22 has had some issues in the past[1] and is currently under a rotor blade inspection requirement[2]. However, in support of the R22's record, a [self-proclaimed?] FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) with over 12,000 accident free hours in helicopters and airplanes and over 7,000 hours as a flight instructor in the R-22, working with Northeast Helicopters in Ellington, Connecticut, has, with the cooperation of one Mahdad Koosh, has performed an extensive analysis of the R22's record.[3]

Frankly I don't know any of these folks but the current wording seems improper so I've deleted it until such time as someone knowledgeable in these affairs has time to investigate the available information and create some suitable verbiage. JimScott (talk) 16:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

==Stub== Born2flie: Article focuses on helicopters in the beginning and goes to gliders, seems arse-backwards. Not to mention that it barely mentions the beginnings. --01:52, 1 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sikorsky sells S-300 series product line to Schweizer RSG

edit

Should someone update this web page? The "Schweizer 300" Wikipedia page has been updated but shouldn't this web page be updated as well?

Sikorsky Aircraft company sold the S-300 helicopter to Schweizer RSG, a new company affiliated with Rotorcraft Services Group in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Rotorcraft Services Group website is here online: www.rotorcraftservices.com. However, just so you know, I cannot find any information about this sales transaction on the Rotorcraft Services Group website and I cannot find the Schweizer RSG website. I believe that updating websites and creating new websites are a big chore for many companies. However, multiple helicopter industry magazines have reported this purchase.

Here are 3 articles below, for proof of my statement:

  • "Sikorsky sells S-300 series product line to Schweizer RSG" article dated, January 26, 2018, Vertical Magazine article here www.verticalmag.com
  • "Sikorsky Sells Schweizer S-300 Helicopter Line", January 26, 2018, Aviation International News Online article here: www.ainonline.com
  • "Schweizer S-300 Production to Resume after Sale by Sikorsky" January 30, 2018, Flying Magazine article here: www.flyingmag.com

I would prefer someone else updating this web page because I don't want to make any mistakes and then have someone think that I made mistakes on purpose. I hope you can understand this. MikeWest (talk) 18:21, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
