List of journals

edit

The list of journals seems quite old. Now SciELO has 638 journals (today), so I guess it doesn't make any sense to list all of them here. I would rather enter some text about the project itself.

Take off J. Beall propaganda

edit

Please remove the section "Controversy": at this time there are no real controversy, the section is used to ideologic and self-promoting of J. Beall. There was a (personal) fake-news and a great disregard for the scientific community in Latin America. Preserving the memory of this fake-news at Wikipedia is a way to preserve better detractor's statistics. --Krauss (talk) 19:05, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please elaborate on which policy was violated by that section. Otherwise please do not censor content. -Mys_721tx (talk) 18:04, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Jeffrey Beall is one of the top librarian and the world's foremost expert on predatory publishing. If he has something to say about something in the world of publishing, Wikipedia cannot ignore it. Invoking Trumpian logic that things that are unflattering to you amounts to fake news will not sway anyone. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 18:08, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
