Scotch Whisky is a type of whisky much in the same way Scotch Broth is a type of Broth. It is called "Scotch Broth", not "Scottish Broth" just as "Scotch Whisky" is not known as "Scottish Whisky". Moonjava (talk) 19:41, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I changed "Rutabaga" to "Swede" in the ingredients for consistency with the description in the summary. Scotch Broth is a UK dish and the name "Rutabaga" is not generally known in the UK. Having said that, Scotch Broth is from Scotland and "Swede" is the English name. In Scotland they are generally called Neeps. 151.170.240.200 (talk) 10:02, 6 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
