Glen was Alexander's last name. I realize that one source has the wording "Alexander Lindsey of Glen", but I don't know why.
The naming convention Scotish families and clans, can refer to local regions or areas, to help distinguish themselves from other clans with the same sur names.LanceBarber (talk) 06:10, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
