COI
editWhy is Scott Draves (Spot) editing an article about himself? This is blatant shameless self-promotion and hawking of wares in violation of Wikipedia's NPOV.--Editor5435 (talk) 02:42, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Notable?
editSpot wrote the following [1] that might be helpful in showing notability:
As for the notability and sourcing for the articles about me and my work, this probably isn't the right place to address them in full but note that I didn't create these articles and they they have survived for a long time and been edited by a lot of people. I have made some edits to them under my own name without any deception, but I believe I am allowed to correct basic factual errors. If I have overstepped the rules then I apologize and invite an audit and the chance to provide references. Re notability, have been covered in Wired Magazine (May 2001), Discover (twice), The New Yorker (July 2004), Valleywag, BoingBoing, etc etc. My artwork appears on the cover of Leonardo and is permanently hosted on MoMA.org. See my bio.

Remove the Tag
editSince the article is now referenced and kept, shouldn't the notice be removed? (yes it's me) Spot (talk) 22:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm removing the tag. There's absolutely nothing here that could be construed as POV and notability is established by WP:RSes, of which there are several. Notability is established and WP:NPOV is being adhered to. Nobody of Consequence (talk) 15:03, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
