Secret Ministerial Appointments Controversy

edit

In the article section about the secret ministerial appointments controversy, it says:

Morrison maintained that "the serious crises facing Australia" demanded that he take on the joint ministries as a "safeguard". He argued that[clarification needed].[reference]

The sentence fragment at the end does not make sense, and appears to separate the relevant reference from the quotations. I suggest changing this to read:

Morrison maintained that "the serious crises facing Australia" necessitated his taking on the joint ministries as a "safeguard".[reference]

This would remove the need for clarification, in my opinion. 172.195.96.244 (talk) 10:54, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Prescription of medication for anxiety - confirmed by Morrison - has been added. Another reporter has stated today that in 2021 he had reliable information that Morrison's mental problem was deeper - which he had put to Morrison privately, but he had not received confirmation from Morrison and so could not publish. This does not seem to be factually solid enough to add to the article, but the story appears to be sincere, is now "out there" and presumably will stay in circulation. Taking antidepressants in 2021 is discussed in his autobiography, which also emphasises the depth and constancy of his evangelical religious faith. Errantios (talk) 22:24, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. kemel49(connect)(contri) 10:42, 22 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
