Comment on AfD
editI thought this was worth keeping, as per Hodgdon's secret garden.
This reminds me a bit of early Joe the Plumber debates. This might also be merged into an article focused on the tape. Mitt_Romney_presidential_campaign,_2012#Video_of_private_fundraiser seems less appropriate - I don't think that section should any details about Prouty's life. But as Prouty has a minor public life of his own, this material shouldn't be deleted without a merge. – SJ + 20:08, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- Unlike SJ above, I don't think this guy needs his own article. He hasn't had much of a public career the way Joe the Plumber had; here, it's really the '47 percent tape' that's notable, not the person who recorded it. Even then, it can be covered adequately as part of the Romney presidential campaign article, as it is at the moment. But as this article was at AFD recently, I won't take it back just yet; we can wait a while to see if he re-emerges in the public eye for other reasons, or whether his 'notability' was just temporary. Merge
editI see that it has been determined that Scott Prouty is worthy for his own page. I disagree. The only reason people know him (if they do at all) is because of his actions during the 2012 Presidential election. For that reason, I believe this page should be merged with that of the election. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ProudGamecock (talk • contribs) 18:36, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
Merge
editHe is not a well known person or a celebrity and doesn't deserve his own page. He was a one time thing and now we should forget about this guy. Kegejoeco (aka Plyjacks) (talk) 12:20, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Delete this useless article and Merge
editThis man does not deserve a Wikipedia page because he is unimportant. No one knows about this one time guy. So really lets get rid of this useless article of this useless guy. No one cares about him anymore.Kegejoeco (aka Plyjacks) (talk) 18:59, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
