editThank you all for the translations, what was sought is the French and the English _together_, not removing the French. Thanks, Chris 16:45, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Merger of Scouting in French Guiana
editThe article mentioned above is a rough translation of a French article that is almost a complete duplicate of information in this article. I suggest a merger, with Scouting in French Guiana becoming a redirect, and perhaps a mention of French Guiana's program here, provided more information can be found than that which exists in the article at present. - Oppose: I started to write the text completly anew. Scouting in French Guiana is not just a part of the Scouts et Guides de France, other French associations are also active. But you are right: the old article was quite bad. --jergen 21:17, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
I removed the tab. --jergen 19:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
9th Article of the Scout Law
editIn the Scouts Unitaires de France, the 9th article is "Le scout est économe et prend soin du bien d'autrui" (The scout is sparing and takes care of what is others') and the article given as 9th in this article is the 10th. Is it an omission or is the law in the Scouts de France different ? fr:Utilisateur:Thomasdeniau 10:45, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- It was an omission - perhaps a bad source. Thanks for your remark. --jergen 14:08, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

- The youngest section is for girls and boys between 6 and 8. It's called "farandoles" or "sarabandes" depending from the structure: The first ar organised by Scout Leaders, the second by parents. --jergen 11:41, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
