Scoville → Scoville (disambiguation) – and redirect Scoville to Scoville scale per WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. The most popular use of "Scoville" relates to spiciness, including "Scoville" being a popular short name for the Scoville heat unit. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:01, 17 March 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. - Oppose - Reference to the scoville scale is clearly not the primary meaning per Google Ngram evidence to the contrary. "Scoville scale" barely registers in the graph compared to all uses of Scoville. -- Netoholic @ 14:00, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Netoholic: That doesn't indicate the context in which "Scoville" is used. A plain Google search for "Scoville" is overwhelmingly dominated by entries about spiciness. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:58, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- Ye olde "plain Google search" provides WP:HITS which can be inaccurate and biased. Perhaps Google knows you have an interest in peppers and so prioritizes those results to you. -- Netoholic @ 16:59, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, of course (what does your Google search indicate?). But it's still not true to say based on your Google Books search that "Reference to the scoville scale is clearly not the primary meaning". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 13:11, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

- Support, the Scoville scale seems to be the primary topic here. JIP | Talk 19:11, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, no benefit 2601:541:4500:1760:2047:62AA:BD6A:51C6 (talk) 21:56, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
- Strong Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC/WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT based on WP:GOOGLETEST and page views. The scale gets 3000 views a day; I can't find another use of Scoville that gets 10. The ngrams in books for "Scoville scale" doesn't tell us anything, because few references to the scale are, literally, "Scoville scale". As to the "no benefit" !vote, uh, that's not an argument, unless consensus has changed about WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. --В²C ☎ 04:23, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
