I have read MOS:ICON, and I do not see where it is discouraged; rather, it is encouraged if it improves comprehension of the subject. Medals and awards are inherently integral for heroes. This visual cue is valuable. I do believe the unit level decorations should be removed, but individual awards for gallantry should stand. Take a look at Audie Murphy (Featured Article) and Chesty Puller (B-class). Per WP:BRD, I will restore that portion while this is under discussion. Scr★pIronIV20:25, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
