How to see the keyring
editGreat software. The very first question: "can I see my keyring's data, please" resulted in 15 minutes of googling and fruitless experiments... damn. 209.132.186.34 (talk) 14:59, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Seahorse.png
editImage:Seahorse.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Merge from GNOME Keyring
edit- I'm generally in agreement GNOME Keyring should be merged here due to the statement Keyring Manager has been completely replaced by Seahorse; in the GNOME 2.22 results. I might be willing to attempt the merge if there is felt to be a consensus but that may be workload dependent at the time. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 22:06, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: There is was preliminary discussion on this on Talk:GNOME Keyring (following a prod/deprod on that article) however the merge templates point to this and discussion on the merge should be here. Thankyou Djm-leighpark (talk) 22:14, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose merge, as the equivalence is unclear from the sources. I note that we have
As of GNOME 2.22, it is deprecated and replaced entirely with Seahorse
, yet there seems to be a stable release up to 3.34.2. Klbrain (talk) 04:33, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
