Question
Why the link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epsilon_Pi_chapter_of_Beta_Theta_Pi ? That fraternity has nothing to do with Seal and Serpent. [Preceding comment was undated, probably prior to 2006]
What's wrong?
I have reviewed this article and I don't see anything informal about the tone of this article. Why don't you get more specific? I don't see any violations. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by CRKingston 06:33, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
The mention of Skull and Bones in the first section is irrelevant, it is most likely an attempt by the members to implicitly compare their organization to the more widely known Skull and Bones. Wikipedia is not to be used for marketing purposes or to express any one group's opinion or position. This part of that sentence should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.84.219.19 (talk) 07:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Sourcing
The only source in this article is the society's website. That's not a reliable source. Corvus cornix 20:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
The article references the Cornell University IFC page, The Cornell Daily Sun which is the oldest Independent Daily College Newspaper, and also Kara Miller who works for Cornell University's Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs (http://dos.cornell.edu/greek/about_our_office/staff_listing.cfm) and Uncle Ezra (http://cornellsun.com/node/27260). Seal & Serpent Society is only found at Cornell University and therefore it is difficult to cite extensively outside of Cornell Websites, Ithaca News sites, and our website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by N1c20m90 (talk • contribs) 19:56, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
