Thanks for writing this interesting article. It could benefit from better referencing though. Some statements sounds more like anecdotes of the kind that are told to tourists than like information from reliable historical sources. Example: "There is a tree with his name near the abbey, which never blossomed, and as of 2007, all its branches droop down" - this sentence is hard to reconcile with the two photos linked in the current version of the article, one of which is from 2006 and appears to show the tree bearing fruit or at least large blossoms, and both show plenty of branches pointing upwards.
