Hi @SeoR, many thanks for your edits tidying up my work here, I can often be a bit haphazard when I write big chunks like that. The only thing I wanted to query with you was where you said it was irrelevant to mention that it was the Irish Inner Bar that Robinson was called to. Though it does not (yet anyway) mention it in the article, Robinson was also called to to Bar of England and Wales in 1983. It’s not in the article, but should we still specify the Irish Bar in 1980? Happy to take your guidance on this one. Cheers. Xx78900 (talk) 08:32, 22 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm happy to help. It was a nicely-written article from the start, and any of us will miss some little thing, and we're all here to help (and thanks for catching my insomnia-moment typo on "called"). On this specific point, I'd forgotten that call to the E&W Bar, which I should not have, as it was even the source of controversy once, when Kofi Annan's people mentioned that instead of her existing Irish Bar position when announcing her UN HCR appointment - and so indeed that should be clearly mentioned in both this and the Legal Career article. Even though Ms Robinson never did use it much, it is a material point. And then with that mentioned, the Irish bar point will need to be clear too. I will amend accordingly. The first sentence of this section doesn’t make sense. “…Robinson was the proposal…” Was opposed to the proposal? Although rather awkward. KJP1 (talk) 20:45, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
