Clean-up
editForewarned- This is my first new entry into the 'pedia. Please help me out here!
- I don't like the introduction much. I believe, but was not able to verify, that there is an ALMS award for winning the three big endurance races (24hrs Daytona, 12hrs Sebring, 6hrs Atlanta). I thought winning those got you into Le Mans.
- The history is sparse. This is a track with a lot of history.
- Probably needs help with the verbage.
- How's the layout?
Thanks. Having fun!
- Just realized I wasn't logged in... carried over a browser from the trip home from work.
- Anyway, the edits indicated as 67.168.24.250 are from me, User:Atombaby. So blame me, not some anonymous idiot.
I like the layout and you have a good start here. I just wanted to offer a correction on the track record for the "5th variation: 1991 - 1998" Juan Fangio and Andy Wallace qualified for the 1993 Sebring 12 hours at 1:46.135, over three seconds faster than Stefan Johannson did later. I remember, because I was their race engineer then. A reference for this fact is

Oops, although our 1992 pole was faster than the listed track record, I meant the 1993 reference: http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/Sebring-1993-03-20.html. Thanks again, Trossa27 (talk) 14:33, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Article Name Change
editThe track is actually named "Sebring International Raceway". What's the procedure to change the article name? JDS2005 05:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Sebring is in Florida...
edit...so why the bloody hell is this part of Wikiproject Georgia? JDS2005 05:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- not sure, I just changed it --bradkittenbrink 05:44, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
12 Hours of Sebring
editThe history section contains the following unsourced statement: "The 12 Hours of Sebring, sanctioned by the ALMS is one of the most important races in the world." This statement seems like pure self advertisement, with nothing to back it up. Unless someone can find reliable sources that backup such a claim I think the statement should be removed.SkorponokX (talk) 15:49, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
