• The "her" in "her previous short films" is unknown who is being talked about (since Madonna has also technically released short films); to clarify the pronoun I would replace "her" with "McDaniel's"

• The use of "drawing" before "comparisons" sounds awkward to me; I think it would be fine if you removed "drawing" altogether

• You could add a topic sentence similar to what is mentioned in the lead; something along the lines of ""Secret" was a commercial success worldwide." Let me know what you decide to do

Music video

Filming and release

• You would use "on" if it was just one date, but since it was filmed over a span of three days, I would instead say "The video was filmed during September 9–11, 1994..."
• Shouldn't it it be "finished within three days", not "finished within two days" since it took a total of three days to film?

Certifications

• No 'titled' certification for the UK, yes?
