This list of officers is partly outdated. It needs to be updated.

"The salary and emolument in this rank is equivalent[18] to chief secretaries of state governments and to Vice Chief of the Army Staff, commanders and officers in the rank of full general, and its equivalents, in the Indian Armed Forces.[18]"

This is entirely incorrect. The salary and emoluments of a Secretary to the Govt of India are at Level 17, equivalent to those of the Vice Chief of Army Staff and Army Commanders, however they are emphatically NOT equivalent to those of a full general and it's equivalents, who are in Pay Level 18, equivalent to the Cabinet Secretary. The citation which has been provided "Army Pay Rules 2017" deals only with Junior Commissioned Officers, and not officers in these pay grades.
