Will it be notable?
editCopied from:User_talk:ChildofMidnight/Baconchallenge2009#Hook_tweak
I've looked at about 150 Google search and news hits, examined about 50 of them and stuck the most relevant into my subpage but I'm a bit concerned that it might fail WP:Notability (books). All the books in Category:Cookbooks (why doesn't a wikilink work here?) have some sort of history orgastronomic respect. I guess comments should be made on the talkpage.
So thoughts welcome! Bigger digger (talk) 23:35, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Like I said on the bacon challenge talk page, don't worry about WP:NB, I looked through some of the sources, defiantly enough to pass the General Notability Guidelines, so there is no need to pass the book guidelines, they are more designed around a book that doesn't pass the GNG.--kelapstick (talk) 23:51, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with K-stick: the book is defiantly notable. LONG LIVE BACON!!! Oh and it's been cited, reviewed and discussed quite a bit too, so I think it's quite definitely notable, also. ChildofMidnight (talk) 02:46, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

- Definitely notable. There's tons of additional sources that could be used to further expand the article. [1] Cirt (talk) 22:51, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
