Seyferth, Seifert etc a jewish name???
editHow come a nazi criminal carries this name, did this ethymology escape the nazis attention as to being jewish in origin?
http://www2.tbo.com/content/2010/nov/06/nazi-war-criminal-seifert-dead-at-86-in-italy/
for example. My last name is Seyferth, and my grandfather also served in the wehrmacht during World war 2, he did marry my jewish grandmother after the war and I do not recollect any mention being made ever of the Seyferth name being remotely jewish in origin.
