My purpose for this article is to document the market for SHFP and to review all the various applications of commercial products in the marketplace. This article could be folded into a larger article on smart/active packaging, but in the active packaging space the RFID technology kind of overwhelms everything else so I thought SHFP could stand on it's own.
I would argue that it's not a business plan because it has no preference of one technology over another, no plan to take a given technology to the market, no cost/sales analysis. Jodiegg (talk) 02:01, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Another possibility... there are currently no pages on Smart Packaging or Active Packaging, both names for very active fields of research in the packaging world. Self heating food packaging could be eventually merged there along with RFID.Jodiegg (talk) 02:11, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The anime Cowboy bebop: The Movie (2001) shows such a soup can that can self heat up when a string is pulled (at 00:14:22 ). Maybe this is worth adding to the article 105.66.135.87 (talk) 10:26, 20 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
