In the first paragraph of the section headed “House and Cuddy,” I changed the word “effect” to the correct word “affect” in the phrase which now reads: “… Taub (Peter Jacobson) is rightly apprehensive about how the relationship will affect the team’s working.“ Explanation: the words “effect” and “affect” are often confused as verbs. “Affect,” as a verb, means to influence, to have an effect upon, as in the sentence just quoted. “Effect,” as a verb, means to bring about.
