Mortar boards in late 60s
editI was a pupil during the transition from Grammar to High - in my fifth year - and the article claims that mortar boards were still in evidence. But I really don't remember that at all: from 4 years before, when I joined in 1966, the mortar boards only appeared on special occasions if at all and only then by a small minority of the masters. Otherwise the article seems remarkably accurate and informative. Rogerclarinet (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:37, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
hmm...
editThe category about the Old Croydonians Association sounds like an advert... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lyiriyah (talk • contribs) 10:55, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
- I removed the obviously promotional sentences and tagged the section since it's unsourced. —PaleoNeonate – 01:13, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
@PaleoNeonate: Thought it was suspicious, thanks for replying!
