Bias, undue weight, etc.

Bias. The article pretends that the so-called "Arians" were followers of Arius, and is otherwise biased towards trinitarianism. The article generally incorporates specifically Catholic POV, which isn't bad in itself, when it incorporates text from the Catholic Encyclopedia; it requires additional work to include other POVs.

Undue weight. What is the passage about three modern churches doing in here? It's unsubstantiated, it's implausible, and it's irrelevant. Jacob Haller 08:23, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

I have to say I think semi-Arianism in American Christianity (Adventist) is an important topic I think it deserves a full section. So I disagree we have undue weight, rather insufficient weight. jbolden1517^Talk 01:12, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

It ought to be noted that accusations of semi-arianism have often come up in later controversies over the filioque, with one side implicitly or explicitly accusing the other of being unorthodox or semi-arian because of different internal understandings of the Holy Trinity. Not enough information on the content of the doctrine

It is still unclear. It says that Arianism and Semi-Arianism both hold that Jesus was not of one substance with the Father, so what is the difference between them?77Mike77 (talk) 03:43, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, the start of the article seems to say a few things that Semi-Arianism has in common with Arianism despite "modifying" it, but doesn't clearly state anything that's different, and what was "modified".--108.86.123.123 (talk) 04:01, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

Should Wikipedia define some religious beliefs as true and others as false?

It seems like a blatantly non-neutral point of view. At this point the lead practically defines "semi-Arianism" as false and "the church's orthodox position" of the homoousios as true. 96.231.17.131 (talk) 04:24, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
