Article renaming
editI disagree with this renaming because it will confuse people who are using this for a reference. If the editor can produce one example of semi steel which is NOT a casting, please do so. By naming the article semi steel it implies it is a material which might be purchased. Semi-steel casting was the term created by iron foundries. Mfields1 (talk) 01:44, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- It's not that the material is only used as a casting material; I don't doubt that. It's just that the term isn't "semi-steel castings" it's "semi-steel" as shown by these references: [1] and [2]. Cast iron is also only used for castings, but we don't refer to the material as "cast-iron castings", therefore we shouldn't refer to this material as "semi-steel castings".
